Rachel is a Clinical Psychologist who offers compassionate, client-centred support for
adolescents (15+) and adults across a broad range of mental health concerns. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, body image concerns, eating disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, addictions, ADHD, chronic pain and general life struggles.
Over the course of her career, Rachel has worked across both the public and private sectors, including in forensic settings, fertility clinics, hospital settings, and private practice. These diverse clinical experiences have deepened her understanding of the challenges people face and the importance of tailoring therapy to each person’s unique experience and needs.
Rachel brings a particular focus to supporting individuals through the emotional complexities of fertility and reproductive health, including support through IVF, donor conception, pregnancy loss, and surrogacy. She is also deeply experienced in perinatal and postnatal periods, offering thoughtful care throughout the parenthood journey.
She draws on a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and emotion regulation strategies. Rachel also has specialised training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). In line with ISTDP principles, she encourages clients to gently confront their emotional experiences and uncover deeper patterns contributing to distress.
By fostering emotional insight and expression, therapy can help clients overcome symptoms, break free from old cycles, and move toward lasting change and greater resilience.
