Natalie is a Clinical Psychologist with experience in both the private and government sectors. She works with adolescents (15 years and older), young adults, and adults, and is especially passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community. She has experience with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues, personality disorders, trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation, and substance misuse.
Natalie aims to create a warm and safe environment in which to establish strong therapeutic relationships with her clients. She works to help clients understand their emotions, thoughts, and behavioural patterns, and the origins of these patterns, as well as develop management strategies. She uses various therapeutic approaches to inform treatment, including Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
