Dr. Tash Thomson

Dr Tash is a Specialist Paediatrician with a subspecialty in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and over 15 years’ experience in paediatrics. She trained at Melbourne’s largest specialist children’s hospitals, along with local and interstate centres, and now focuses on general paediatric concerns and the assessment and treatment of minor injuries and illnesses.

Originally qualifying as a secondary health teacher, Dr Tash has always been passionate about helping people understand health — a philosophy that continues to shape her approach to her paediatric practice today.

As founder of QuickStix Paediatrics, Dr Tash is committed to making specialist paediatric care more accessible, combining evidence-based medicine with genuine partnership. She takes the time to explain the “why” behind her recommendations, ensuring families leave every consultation feeling informed, reassured and confident.

Known for her warm, down-to-earth approach, Dr Tash believes every family deserves to feel heard, supported and empowered.
