Brenda Stevens graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2008, and since has gained a wealth of experience working across diverse clinical settings including private practice, rehabilitation, and acute hospitals in both the public and private sectors. She brings her extensive knowledge and expertise to her practice every day, always aligning her treatment approach with each client’s unique needs and recovery goals.
Brenda’s approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, and as such, she has undertaken further training in various areas such as clinical pilates, dry needling, complex shoulder and elbow injuries, neck pain and headaches, chronic pain management, hip pain and rehabilitation, lumbopelvic dysfunction, and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunction. She has a special interest in treating neck pain, headaches, jaw pain, and upper limb injuries, including tendon and nerve pain.
Brenda’s treatment modalities may include a combination of hands on mobilisation and massage, dry needling, muscle energy techniques, movement pattern re-education, and progressive and individualised home exercise prescription. Brenda is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, supported, and confident in their care.
