Dr. Kimberly Mercuri is a clinical psychologist and the director of DKM Psychology. With a diverse background spanning private, forensic, and not-for-profit sectors, she brings a wealth of experience to her therapeutic work.
Dr. Mercuri provides individual therapy to adolescents (16+) and adults, and offers clinical supervision for emerging psychologists. Her therapeutic approach is primarily informed by Schema Therapy, focusing on identifying and modifying maladaptive patterns rooted in early life experiences.
She also incorporates Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address the impact of past traumas. Dr. Mercuri is currently undergoing certification in Schema Therapy and is an AHPRA-endorsed clinical psychologist, as well as a member of the Australian Psychological Society and its College of Clinical Psychologists. She offers assessments for adults, including evaluations for cognitive functioning, intellectual disability, ADHD, and Autism. Appointments are available at DKM Psychology’s Coburg and Caulfield.
