Dr Rob Flynn is a Clincial Psychologist who is APHRA registered and an Australian Psychological Society Member (MAPS) with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families. Rob has completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Masters in Sport & Exercise Psychology with Commendation and Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Psychology. Rob has a wide range of experience working across various mental health sectors with a strong focus on child and adolescent mental health.
Rob works with a range of mental health difficulties including Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Panic Attacks, Trauma/PTSD, Phobias, Self-harming & Suicidal behaviours, Attachment/Separation Anxiety, Family relationship conflict, Anger Management, Exam Stress, Emotional resilience & self-esteem difficulties, Sleep difficulties, Neuro-developmental Disorders, Family/Parenting difficulties, and Sport Injuries & Performance Difficulties.
Rob has vast experience in administering and interpreting a range of psychometric assessments including; WISC-V (6-16), WPPSI (3-6), WAIS (16-90) and neuro-psychological assessments. Rob also has extensive experience working in diagnosic teams for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The results from an assessment process can also be used to help guide a young person’s learning and also inform the type of care and support the client may need.
